Our Story

With the fast pace of days, the changing of times, and the rise of strange trends and vocabulary that have no connection to our customs and traditions—further distancing people from our beautiful past and rich heritage of expressive words and proverbs—the idea for "Hashashat Yofy" was born.

"Hashashat Yofy" is a Kuwaiti phrase meaning literally, "a piece of my heart". Through this initiative, our goal is to convey the fragrant spirit of Kuwait’s authentic past—along with the words and proverbs it holds—to our children in a modern way using cheerful, expressive imagery. We hope it succeeds in connecting our children in the present to a past that was nearly, if not already, forgotten..
